|| ब्रह्मस्तुति ||
चतुर्मुखं कमण्डलुधरं जपामालाधारिणम् । हंसारूढं सुरेशं ब्रह्माणं प्रणमाम्यहम् ॥१॥
caturmukhaṃ kamaṇḍaludharaṃ japāmālādhāriṇam | haṃsārūḍhaṃ sureśaṃ brahmāṇaṃ praṇamāmyaham ||1||
I bow to Brahma, the four-faced one, holding the water pot, wearing the rosary, riding the swan, the lord of the gods.
वेदमन्त्रप्रणेतारं सर्वज्ञानविधायिनम् । चतुर्वेदस्य जनकं ब्रह्माणं प्रणमाम्यहम् ॥२॥
vedamantra praṇetāraṃ sarvajñānavidhāyinam | caturvedasya janakaṃ brahmāṇaṃ praṇamāmyaham ||2||
I bow to Brahma, the author of the Vedic mantras, the bestower of all knowledge, the father of the four Vedas.
