About this stotra
Parashurama Stotram (परशुरामस्तोत्रम्) - a hymn to Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, the wielder of the axe, the warrior-sage who restored cosmic order. He is the eternal guardian of the Vedas and the guru of martial arts.
|| परशुरामस्तोत्रम् ||
परशुरामं महावीरं नरसिंहं चतुर्भुजम् । कालस्य कालमक्षोभ्यं दंष्ट्राकरालवक्त्रकम् ॥ १ ॥
paraśurāmaṃ mahāvīraṃ narasiṃhaṃ caturbhujam | kālasya kālam akṣobhyaṃ daṃṣṭrākarālavaktrakam || 1 ||
Parashurama, the great warrior, the man-lion, the four-armed one, the time of time itself, the imperturbable, with ferocious fangs and a terrifying face.
रामं रामं च रामं च कृष्णं वैकुण्ठनायकम् । रामं रामचन्द्रं च नरसिंहं च सर्वदा ॥ २ ॥
rāmaṃ rāmaṃ ca rāmaṃ ca kṛṣṇaṃ vaikuṇṭhanāyakam | rāmaṃ rāmacandraṃ ca narasiṃhaṃ ca sarvadā || 2 ||
Rama, again Rama, and yet again Rama, Krishna the lord of Vaikuntha, Rama and Ramachandra, and Narasimha - always.
