|| पाण्डुरङ्गाष्टकम् ||
पाण्डुरङ्ग पाण्डुरङ्ग पाण्डुरङ्ग प्रभो । पाहि मां पाहि मां पाहि मां प्रभो ॥ 1 ॥
pāṇḍuraṅga pāṇḍuraṅga pāṇḍuraṅga prabho | pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ prabho ||1||
O Panduranga, Panduranga, Panduranga, Lord! Protect me, protect me, protect me, O Lord!
भक्तवत्सल भक्तवत्सल भक्तवत्सल प्रभो । पाहि मां पाहि मां पाहि मां प्रभो ॥ 2 ॥
bhaktavatsala bhaktavatsala bhaktavatsala prabho | pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ prabho ||2||
O affectionate one to devotees, O Lord! Protect me, protect me, protect me, O Lord!
रुक्मिणीवल्लभ रुक्मिणीवल्लभ रुक्मिणीवल्लभ प्रभो । पाहि मां पाहि मां पाहि मां प्रभो ॥ 3 ॥
rukmiṇīvallabha rukmiṇīvallabha rukmiṇīvallabha prabho | pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ pāhi māṃ prabho ||3||
O beloved of Rukmini, O Lord! Protect me, protect me, protect me, O Lord!
॥ इति पाण्डुरङ्गाष्टकम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥
Lord Panduranga (Vithoba) is the form of Krishna as he appeared to the devotee Pundalika, standing on a brick with his hands on his hips. The temple at Pandharpur is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India.
