Shani Stotram

कोणस्थः पिङ्गलो बभ्रुः कृष्णो रौद्रान्तको यमः । सौरिः शनैश्चरो मन्दः सर्वाघ परिहारकः ॥१॥

koṇasthaḥ piṅgalo babhruḥ kṛṣṇo raudrāntako yamaḥ | sauriḥ śanaiścaro mandaḥ sarvāgha parihārakaḥ ||1||

He who stands in the corner, the tawny one, the brown one, the dark one, the fierce one, the terminator, Yama, the son of Surya, the slow-moving one, the remover of all sins.

नमस्ते कोणसंस्थाय पिङ्गलाय नमो नमः । नमस्ते रौद्रदेहाय नमस्ते घोररूपिणे ॥२॥

namaste koṇasaṃsthāya piṅgalāya namo namaḥ | namaste raudradehāya namaste ghorarūpiṇe ||2||

Salutations to you who stands in the corner, salutations to the tawny one. Salutations to you with the fierce body, salutations to you of terrible form.

शनि देव नमस्तेस्तु यस्य प्रीत्याऽऽपदां भयम् । पलायते न सन्देहः सर्वविघ्ननिवारकः ॥३॥

śani deva namaste’stu yasya prītyā”padāṃ bhayam | palāyate na sandehaḥ sarvavighnanivārakaḥ ||3||

O Shani deva, salutations to you, by whose grace the fear of calamities flees without doubt. You are the remover of all obstacles.
