|| कूर्मावतारस्तोत्रम् ||
कूर्मरूपं महादेवं मन्दराचलधारिणम् । देवासुरहितार्थाय धृतं तं कूर्ममाश्रये ॥१॥
kūrmarūpaṃ mahādevaṃ mandarācaladhāriṇam | devāsurahitätthāya dhṛtaṃ taṃ kūrmamāśraye ||1||
I take refuge in Kurma, the great lord in tortoise form, the supporter of Mount Mandara, who was assumed for the welfare of gods and demons.
क्षीरोदधौ स्थितं देवं मन्थानाद्रिधरं हरिम् । कूर्ममीशं नमाम्यामि मम रोगं विनाशय ॥२॥
kṣīrodadhau sthitaṃ devaṃ manthānādridharaṃ harim | kūrmamīśaṃ namāmyāmi mama rogaṃ vināśaya ||2||
I bow to the lord Kurma, to Hari who stood in the ocean of milk supporting the churning mountain. Destroy my afflictions.
