I bow to Vishnu, the peaceful one, who rests on the serpent, who has a lotus emerging from his navel, who is the lord of the gods, the support of the universe, vast as the sky, dark as a cloud, with beautiful limbs, the beloved of Lakshmi, lotus-eyed, attainable through meditation by yogis, the remover of worldly fear, the sole lord of all worlds.

Meditate always on Mahesha (Shiva), white as a silver mountain, adorned with a beautiful crescent moon, his limbs radiant with gem-like ornaments, holding in his hands the axe, the deer, the boon, and fearlessness, serene, seated on a lotus, praised by the gods on all sides, clad in a tiger skin, the beginning of the universe, the seed of the universe, the remover of all fears, with five faces and three eyes.
