Dattatreya Stotram
|| दत्तात्रेयस्तोत्रम् ||
jaṭilaṃ muṇḍinaṃ kāṣāyāmbaravāsinam | daṇḍamaṇḍaluśūlinaṃ dattātreyamahaṃ bhaje ||1||
I worship Dattatreya, who wears matted locks and a shaven head, who is clothed in ochre robes, who holds a staff, a water pot, and a trident.
anasūyāsutaṃ śāntaṃ jñānadaṃ brahmacāriṇam | yogināṃ pravaraṃ devaṃ dattātreyamahaṃ bhaje ||2||
I worship Dattatreya, the son of Anasuya, the peaceful one, the giver of knowledge, the celibate, the foremost among yogis, the shining one.
dattātreya hṛdi dhyāyet sarvapāpaharaṃ param | brahmajñānapradaṃ devaṃ dattātreyamahaṃ bhaje ||3||
I worship Dattatreya - meditating on him in the heart destroys all sins, grants supreme knowledge of Brahman, and reveals the divine.
