Bhairavi Stotram (भैरवीस्तोत्रम्) - a hymn to Goddess Bhairavi, the fierce form of the divine mother. She is the power of transformation who burns away impurities and reveals the radiant truth beneath.
|| भैरवीस्तोत्रम् ||
भैरवीं महादेवीं त्रिशूलखड्गधारिणीम् । नमामि नित्यं देवेशीं सर्वभूतभयंकरीम् ॥१॥
bhairavīṃ mahādevīṃ triśūlakhaḍgadhāriṇīm | namāmi nityaṃ deveśīṃ sarvabhūtabhayaṅkarīm ||1||
I bow daily to Bhairavi, the great goddess holding a trident and sword, the queen of goddesses, fearsome to all beings.
रक्तमाल्याम्बरधरां रक्तगन्धानुलेपनाम् । रक्ताक्षीं रक्तसर्वाङ्गीं भैरवीं तां नमाम्यहम् ॥२॥
raktamālyāmbaradharāṃ raktagandhānulepanām | raktākṣīṃ raktasarvāṅgīṃ bhairavīṃ tāṃ namāmyaham ||2||
I bow to Bhairavi, wearing red garlands and garments, anointed with red sandalpaste, red-eyed, with red limbs.
