Maha Mrityunjaya Stotram
|| महामृत्युञ्जयस्तोत्रम् ||
oṃ tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭivardhanam | urvārukamiva bandhanānmṛtyormukṣīya mā’mṛtāt ||1||
Om. We worship the Three-eyed Lord (Shiva), who is fragrant and who nourishes all beings. May He liberate us from death for the sake of immortality, as a ripe cucumber is released from its stem.
yā devī sarvabhūteṣu mātṛrūpeṇa saṃsthitā | yā devī sarvabhūteṣu śaktirūpeṇa saṃsthitā | yā devī sarvabhūteṣu śāntirūpeṇa saṃsthitā | namastasyai namastasyai namastasyai namo namaḥ ||2||
The Goddess who abides in all beings as the mother, who abides in all beings as power, who abides in all beings as peace - salutations to Her, salutations to Her, salutations to Her again and again.
