|| श्रीरुद्रम् (चयनित श्लोकाः) ||

नमस्ते रुद्र मन्यव उतोत इषवे नमः । नमस्ते अस्तु धन्वने बाहुभ्यामुत ते नमः ॥१॥

namaste rudra manyava utota iṣave namaḥ | namaste astu dhanvane bāhubhyāmuta te namaḥ ||1||

Salutations to your anger, O Rudra, and to your arrow, salutations. Salutations to your bow, and to your arms, salutations.

या त इषुः शिवतमा शिवं बभूव ते धनुः । शिवा शरव्या या तव तया नो रुद्र मृडय ॥२॥

yā ta iṣuḥ śivatamā śivaṃ babhūva te dhanuḥ | śivā śaravyā yā tava tayā no rudra mṛḍaya ||2||

May your arrow be most auspicious, may your bow be auspicious. May your arrows be auspicious - with these, O Rudra, be gracious to us.

॥ इति श्रीरुद्रम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥

The Sri Rudram (also called Rudraprashna or Shatarudriya) is a hymn from the Krishna Yajur Veda (Taittiriya Samhita 4.5) containing 11 anuvakas (sections). It is one of the most important Vedic hymns in the Shaiva tradition.
